Marc Adrian Villas was
born in 1960 in Mexico City to a Mexican painter and American Artist.
Following a BA at Mexico University, he edited the magazine Nosotros
for three years, He then attended the University of Texas at San
Antonio, where he studied photography. Marc subsequently moved to New
York City, where he completed his studies and began publishing in
prestigious magazines. He transferred to Portland, Oregon in 1992,
where his photographic career burgeoned. He opened his downtown New
York City studio in 1996 and now works on portrait and commercial
photography for publications around the world, including the New
York Times and Harper's Bazaar. Several of his photos appeared
in the recently published The Mammoth Book of Illustrated Erotica
