On her hand and fingers she has a heart, a small cross, a peace sign, an equal sign, the word Karma and the word Bad, as well as an evil eye symbol, the words "Love Never Dies" on her left bicep, an OM symbol inside of her left wrist, an anchor tattoo on the underside of her right wrist, the word "love" on her right ear, a small sugar skull (day of the dead) on her ankle (matches boyfriend Liam Hemsworth) and the phrase "just breathe" on her rib cage in honor of a close friend who died of cystic fibrosis. She has part of a 1910 Teddy Rooselvelt speech (Citizen in a Republic) tattooed on her left forearm that reads "So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat." She has two crossed arrows on the back her right elbow. Roman numerals on the inside of her right elbow with a circular design of an anatomical drawing of a human heart from two angles done by Leonardo da Vinci just below. A curved tooth bone from a cat or other animal on her right bicep. She has ROLLING $TONE tattooed on the bottom of her feet. A portrait of her grandmother on her right forearm. A sad cat emoji crying a blue tear tattooed on the inside of her lower lip.
"All of Miley's tattoos have a deep meaning to her," says the friend. "They all represent family, friends and causes that are close to her."
