Hemingson ran the Royal Victoria Marathon, that's 26.2 miles, in his unofficial "Vanishing Tattoo
Uniform" consisting of a Vanishing Tattoo T-shirt, his khaki Utilikilt (as will be seen in the pilot episode on National Geographic of The Vanishing Tattoo), his trusted
Tilley hat AND, incredibly, a brand new pair of four day old DAYTON BOOTS (also much like the ones worn in the pilot).
This amazing feat of temporary insanity came only five days after Vince returned from a 34 hour, four leg plane flight from
Sarawak, Borneo. And after not having trained or run a single mile for nearly four weeks. Jet
lag... what jet lag? His finish time? 4:42:10.
