Brian Austin Green (born July 15, 1973) is an American actor best known for his TV work on the original "Beverly Hills 90210", most recently as Derek Reese on "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" and is actively campaigning for the role of Hal Jordan (green lantern). However, actors campaigning for superhero roles in films don’t always work out -- Sean Young for Catwoman or Tomas Jane for Jonah Hex come to mind. But once in a while, these things work out, as in the case of Tobey Maguire, who auditioned several times for Spider-Man, or even more recently with Oscar-nominated actor Jackie Earle Haley sending in his own homemade audition tape for the role of Rorschach in "Watchmen."
Brian Austin Green and Transformers star Megan Fox have quietly ended their engagement to be married, a source confirms to PEOPLE. "The decision was mutual," says the source. "They're still friends." The two met in 2004 and were engaged two years later in November 2006. Green, 35, who stars in Fox's Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, told PEOPLE as recently as November that he and Fox were hopeful for a small wedding or even elopement.
Green's tattoos consist of an Aztec thunderbird design on right shoulder, cross and JOHN 3:16 on left shoulder, tattoo on chest with Chinese symbol for his name, large dragon on his right forearm, blue & white flames on his left bicep, his son's name Kassius in old English script on his left forearm.
